Professional Biography:

Kimberly Frazier Baker, Assistant Professor, joined the faculty in 2007. She is a native Arkansan and a graduate of the University of Arkansas and the University of South Carolina. Dr. Baker is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist and holds licensure in the state of Arkansas. She has managed her own private practice in speech-language pathology.

Dr. Baker comes to the program with extensive clinical experience, primarily with children ages birth to 21. Her courses focus on phonological development and disorders, language disorders, and research methodology. Dr. Baker has presented on topics on speech sound disorders, autism, and behavioral/emotional disorders.

Personal Information:

Dr. Baker and her husband Stan share their home with two four legged furry charges, Maddie, a toy dachshund, and Ellie, a beautiful rescue dog. The Bakers are advocates of animal welfare and work to protect the rights and dignity of all animals.  Before moving to Fayetteville, Dr. Baker helped found 4-Paws Rescue of Ruston, LA.
