Professional Biography:
Lynn Koch received her doctorate in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arizona. After earning her doctorate in 1996, Lynn was a faculty member in the rehabilitation counseling program at Kent State University for 10 years. In 2006, she joined the faculty at the University of Arkansas as program coordinator of the Rehabilitation Education and Research Program. She is a certified rehabilitation counselor and former vocational rehabilitation counselor.
Academic Interests and Accomplishments:
Lynn has authored or co-authored more than 70 publications related to disability, vocational rehabilitation, and rehabilitation education. She is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences in rehabilitation and serves as the chair of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education Research Committee. In 2001, she received a third place research award from the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association for her research on rehabilitation consumer expectations.
