Provost Cites Letter from RHRC Graduate

The current issue of All Things Academic, a Web-based communications vehicle serving the academic community of the University of Arkansas, includes a letter praising the department of rehabilitation, human resources and communication disorders in the College of Education and Health Professions. Brian Burgess details how he received a degree from the department that enabled him to start a new career at the age of 50. Burgess, a veteran with several disabilities, now works as an employment coordinator for Veterans Affairs in Little Rock.

Burgess' letter recognizes several people in the department -- including faculty members Brent Williams, Rick Roessler, Dan Cook and Judith Robertson -- for their role in his success.

The letter is part of Chronolog, an archive of congratulatory messages and responses among university faculty, staff and students. All Things Academic is edited by Bob Smith, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs.
