Professional Biography:

Marilyn Grace McGehee, M.S., CCC-SLP, Instructor, joined the faculty in 1999. She is a native Arkansan and a graduate of the University of Arkansas. Mrs. McGehee is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist and holds licensure in the state of Arkansas. She has managed her own private practice in speech-language pathology.

Mrs. McGehee comes to the program with extensive clinical experience, primarily with children ages birth to 5 and adults with developmental disabilities. At the U of A Speech and Hearing Clinic, her clinical focus has also included school-age children with speech-language disorders and augmentative communication.

This grant was funded for approximately $7,400 by ASHA Office of Multicultural Affairs. Other participating faculty included Edgarita Long, Ph.D. (primary investigator) and Beth Scott, M.S.P.  The performance period was from Aug. 1, 2000 to Aug. 1, 2001.
