Professional Biography:
Phil is a native of Little Rock, where he grew up listening with his dad to the radio broadcasts of the Razorbacks winning 22 straight football games. Phil graduated from high school and attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock before joining the U.S. Air Force. Although a lifelong Arkansas resident, he has lived in Texas, Colorado, Ohio and California as well as in Germany and England overseas. As a nontraditional student, Phil earned two Associate of Applied Science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne (California), and a Master's Degree in Communication from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He was an instructor in the Department of Communication before assuming his current position in 2001.
Job Duties:
Phil is the Human Resource Development Student Center Coordinator at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. His duties include recruiting new HRDV undergraduate students in to the online accelerated degree-completion program, advising them through to graduation, and networking cooperative support for both local and distant students in Fayetteville and distant colleges.
