Professional Biography:
High School 1981; Business Certificate from NTI, Springdale 1983.
Kathrine has worked in the College of Education and Health Professions since February 1983. Kathrine began in the VOED office under Dr. Dean Clayton. She began working for Dr. Bobbie Biggs in June 1983 in the Arkansas Vocational Curriculum Dissemination Center. She worked for the Curriculum Center 15 years until it closed in 1998. She transferred her administrative skills to the Early Care and Education Projects unit with Dr. Biggs. Since 1998 Kathrine has worked with Dr. Biggs on numerous grant awards in early childhood education.
Job Duties:
Kathrine assists with workshops and seminars. She compiles information for grants, surveys, and research reports. Kathrine processes all paperwork for the Early Care and Education projects for the director and three training advisors and also maintains confidential information files. She works closely with two-year and technical institutions in the state in the contract for training delivery process; she monitors grant expenditures.
