Dr. Thompson is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and the Pennsylvania State University. His bachelor’s and master’s degrees are from the U of A, Fayetteville, and his doctorate is from PSU. He taught agricultural education classes at the Pennsylvania State University, and vocational education the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
Dr. Thompson teaches undergraduate vocational teacher education classes at the University of Arkansas. He teaches undergraduate and graduate classes related to adult education, vocational education and human resource development, as well as supervises the internship experience. Much of his research is associated with human resource development and the teacher education program. Dr Thompson is the co-advisor for Kappa Delta Pi, the honor society in education.
