Professional Biography:

Ms. George graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has been with the Rehabilitation Continuing Education Center of the University for two years and has worked in the field of Rehabilitation and Independent Living for 20 years.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the National Council on Independent Living and is a certified instructor for the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.

Job Duties:

Ms. George provides training and technical assistance to individuals working in vocational rehabilitation and in centers for independent living. She has provided training and technical assistance in such topics as board development, strategic planning and negotiation She writes for and edits publications produced by the Rehabilitation Continuing Education Center, including the Institute on Rehabilitation Issues training documents. Her duties include grant writing and collaboration on projects with People First of Arkansas.
