Professional Biography:
Susan has worked for the University of Arkansas since June 2000 as project secretary for the Early Care and Education Projects under Dr. Bobbie Biggs, professor, Department of Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders. Prior to coming to the university, she worked in the travel industry for more than 20 years. She has a Technical Certificate in Computer Programming/System Analysis from Northwest Technical Institute. The Early Care and Education Projects are statewide training pertaining to child care and early childhood education and are provided free of charge through federal and state grant funding.
Job Duties:
As secretary for the Early Care and Education Projects, Susan creates photo-ready copies of the curricula the research writers produce, creates and manipulates graphics and creates and maintains databases tracking the instructors who provide the training statewide and students who take the classes.
