Professional Biography:
Rachel's Bachelors of Science Degree from Tennessee State University in Foods & Nutrition led her to the National Naval Medical Center as a Civilian Dietitian. After three years she accepted a Food Management position with the University of Maryland where she directed operations for the Rossborough Inn. She has been with the University of Arkansas for five months.
Job Duties:
Rachel's position handles the arrangements for meetings, conferences, trainings and tele-classes. As a member of the Project Management Team, she is responsible for acquiring sites for events, negotiating contracts, arranging travel, setting-up banquet orders and room arrangements, producing handouts and other administrative tasks associated with events. She also works with the Prime Study Groups for the Institute on Rehabilitation Issues (IRI) in getting publications produced, as well as filling orders for IRI publication orders.
